This privacy policy sets out how I use and protect any information that you provide.
I am completely committed to ensuring that your data is protected and I will not share any information about you with third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you, such as sending an order.

As I record and use sensitive data I take the protection of this data very seriously and you should contact me, Rachael Nee, for any matters regarding your personal data.

How I collect personal information and why I have it

I may collect your details through website sales, direct sales, events, workshops, exhibitions and through subscription to my newsletter or blog.

When you make a purchase of a product or service, I may gather your name, email and postal address. These will be used to fulfil the order, for example to the Post Office, Royal Mail or another courier and which may include contacting you directly. I will also record details of the purchase made to help me improve my products and services.

If you have signed up to my mailing list, either through the sign-up newsletter form and/or at website checkout I will only keep your name and email address. These will be used to update you on my news, events and special offers.  They may also be used for the occasional market research purpose, by me. They will never be passed on or sold.

If an individual has provided their details to me at an exhibition or an event, they have also opted into receiving my newsletter, information about events, my work in general and special offers.

These details are uploaded and stored on a mailing list using Aweber, an online, password protected service. You can update your preferences at any time.

My Website host is WordPress.org, which records information necessary to process orders, for example; name, address, telephone numbers and email address. It does not store payment details, which are handled by PayPal, an online, password protected service. I do not see or store any payment details through the payment gateway.

You may opt out of receiving mailings from me at any time, either by contacting me directly or unsubscribing through my newsletters.

I may use personal information provided by you in order to fulfil necessary anti-fraud checks.  This information may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information. This is done only to confirm identity for security purposes.

I may record information about the number of visitors to this website through Google Analytics or the number of purchases made in order to improve my products and services.

My website contains links to other websites. If you follow a link to these sites, please note they may have different privacy policies to mine and I cannot be liable for their practices or content.

Data Breaches
Should your personal data that we control be lost, stolen or otherwise breached, where this constitutes a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will contact you without delay.  We will give you the contact details of the Data Protection Officer who is dealing with the breach, explain to you the nature of the breach and the steps we are taking to deal with it.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
